AMQUA Contributes to Russian Paleontologists
Last year AMQUA gave $2000 to the Paleontological Society for research grants for
Russian scientists working on Quaternary paleontological projects. Awards went to:
Nadja Alexeeva ‹ Small mammals and their significance for paleogeographical
reconstructions and Quaternary stratigraphy
Evgeny Maschenko ‹ Historical and individual development of the genus Mammuthus
Alexei Tikhonov ‹ Excavation of Ekaryaukha mammoth "cemetery"
