The new senior Editor-in-Chief of Geoarchaeology is Rolfe Mandel. Paul Goldberg is Co-Editor, and Ofer Bar-Yosef is the Director of the Editorial Board. Geoarchaeology is published bimonthly and has a broad, interdisciplinary scope dealing with the understanding of archaeological sites, their natural context, and the material artifacts recovered from them. Manuscripts may include subjects from disciplines within the earth sciences (e.g., geography, pedology, climatology, geology, oceanography, geochemistry, geochronology, and geophysics) or biological sciences. The editors are particularly interested in manuscripts that bear upon site-formation processes. Submit manuscripts to: Rolfe Mandel, Department of Geography, University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS 66045-2121; 785-228-0571; fax: -0587.
