Text Box: Call for Nominations for AMQUA
Officers and Councilors

Text Box: AMQUA is seeking nominations for the following officers and council representatives: president-elect, secretary, treasurer, and one councilor each for archaeology; geohistory; geochronology, geophysics and geochemistry; marine geoprocesses; paleobiology; paleoclimatology; terrestrial geoprocesses; and newsletter editor (ex officio).  Officers and councilors serve two-year terms (2004-2006), starting at the time of the time of the 2004 AMQUA Biennial Meeting.  The AMQUA Council traditionally meets annually at the Geological Society of America meeting and at the AMQUA Biennial Meeting.  Special meetings may be called at other times, as needed.  If you would like to nominate someone or are interested in serving as an officer or councilor, please contact Julie Brigham-Grette, AMQUA President-Elect, at Department of Geosciences, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA 01003; juliebg@geo.umass.edu.
